Forsyth was even famous in alternate and fictional universes; Professor X, fully aware of his status as a fictional character, said that he felt like he was "caught between Basil Brush and Bruce Forsyth." (PROSE: No Future [+]Loading...["No Future (novel)"])

Information from invalid sources
Forsyth danced with Michael McIntyre while singing alongside other guests at a Christmas party. (TV: Consider Yourself One Of Us...)
Other matters
Dermot and the Doctor's claim that Forsyth was still alive and working by 2111 is a reference to the star's longevity. Of course, inevitably, Forsyth passed away in 2017. Forsyth's life in the 22nd century has never been contradicted in any other source.
Dorium Maldovar Tells It Like It Is! does not make it clear whether the 52nd century-hailing Dorium is simply watching past episodes of Strictly, or if the story is taking the joke of Forsyth's longevity to an even greater extreme.
