The Time Meddler was the fifth episode of the series Tales of the TARDIS and was released on BBC iPlayer on 1 November 2023 by the BBC, written by Phil Ford and directed by Joshua M.G. Thomas, and was notable for featuring the televised return of Peter Purves as Steven Taylor.

This story consists of two newly recorded scenes placed on either side of an omnibus version of the TV story The Time Meddler.

Synopsis

Steven and Vicki meet again and remember their first adventure battling a time-travelling Monk about to change the course of history in 1066.
