Publisher's summary
If an attack with nuclear weapons is expected, you will hear the air attack warning. If you are not at home, but can get there within two minutes, do so. If you are in the open, take cover in the nearest building. If you cannot reach a building, lie flat on the ground and cover your head and your hands.
Arriving in the North of England in the late 1980s, Ace and Hex seek refuge at the home of Albert and Peggy Marsden... in the last few hours before the outbreak of World War III.
Meanwhile, the Doctor is missing. Will there be anyone left for him to rescue, when the bombs begin to fall?

Notes
- Ian Hogg (Albert Marsden) previously played Josiah Samuel Smith in DW: Ghost Light and General Voshkar in BFA: The Sandman.
- After NSA: Day of the Cockroach, this is the second Doctor Who audio drama released in 2012 to feature the anachronistic outbreak of World War III in the 1980s.
- As he does not appear until the final scene of the second episode, the first episode is one of the very few not to feature the Doctor at all. Another example of this occurrence in a Big Finish audio drama is the second episode of BFA: The Eye of the Scorpion.
- This audio drama was recorded on 9 and 10 January 2012.
