Rachel was a student at Coal Hill Academy and the girlfriend of Ram Singh, with whom she attended the school prom.

In 2016[1], while with Ram at the night of the autumn prom, she was suddenly killed by Corakinus, king of the Shadow Kin, who impaled her with his blade through her chest from behind, splattering Ram with her blood as Rachel's body exploded into ashes. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die) The impact of Rachel's death devastated Ram emotionally. Others thought her missing. (TV: The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo)
