Hull was a city in England.
In 1887, a young woman named Julia Hardwick became a cause celebre in Hull when she claimed to come from the future. (WC: A Ghost Story for Christmas)
Kathy Nightingale was transported to Hull in 1920 from London in the 2000s[1] by a Weeping Angel, who fed on her potential energy. Other residents included Ben Wainwright, whom she eventually married. (TV: Blink)
During the 2000s, Hull was one of the main cities affected by the terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of over 1000 people within the UK. At least 15 people were killed across Hull and Lincoln. (AUDIO: The Longest Night)
Donna Noble suggested to a bunch of abductees gathered in the Oracle Hotel in Brentford that they go and visit Hull. When the Tenth Doctor questioned "Why would they want to go to Hull? What's in Hull that they could possibly want to see?", Donna replied "I dunno. But I always thought it sounded interesting". Wilfred Mott stated "Hull's lovely", and commented that he'd "[been] there for a long weekend once, seen a match. Went out on a boat". (PROSE: Beautiful Chaos)
On escaping an exploding spaceship at the end of humanity, Robin Bright-Thompson and Andy Davidson landed in Hull in 2020, where they encountered wild wolves in a devastated war zone from a previously averted Robot War. As they travelled back towards London, alternate time streams flickered around them, presenting them with new dangers and removing others. Since vehicles were prone to disappearing at any time, Andy had to make the trip entirely on foot.
Later, when these events were all averted in order to save the Eighth Doctor, Helen Sinclair told the remaining version of Andy his alternate self had "been to Hull and back". (AUDIO: Get Andy)

In Angels, Abby McPhail identifies 2008 as the year of Kathy's disappearance, which suggests 2009 as the year of the Red Hatching. In Salvation, the Thirteenth Doctor recognises the Red Hatching as the cause of death of Andy Proctor, who was last seen by his daughter Cleo "nearly 20 years" before 2022 according to Recruits.
