The Celestial Toymaker was a story concept in John Leekley's series bible for Amblin Entertainment's proposed 1990s Doctor Who television show. It was based on the First Doctor serial The Celestial Toymaker.[1]

Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 2525, the Tardis is pulled into the Toymaker's fantasy world. The Doctor must win his freedom from eternal imprisonment by playing a deadly mind game. Meanwhile, Barusa discovers that the Toymaker is being controlled by the Doctor's evil half-brother, the Master.[2]

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • In an earlier draft of the summary, written 21 March 1994, Borusa identifies that the Toymaker's domain is a time vortex controlled by the Master, rather than the Master controlling the Toymaker directly.[2]
