He Who Wins (audio story)

The title of the audio derives from the final riddle in the Game of Rassilon from TV: The Five Doctors, which the "Unbound" Master quotes: "To lose is to win, and he who wins shall lose."

The Daleks do not understand the meaning of pity. In the original timeline, Davros begs the Daleks for pity, but one says that the word itself was not registered in its casing's vocabulary banks before they kill him. (TV: Genesis of the Daleks)

The Master says he killed the Doctor from a distance, without gloating. (AUDIO: Shockwave)
