Henrik & Son, also called Henrik's ~ the department store, was the counterpart of Henrik's Department Store in Pete's World, with branches in London and many other locations. They were associated with Cybus Industries and Millingdale, and the company also had a website, henriksonline.co.uk.

Notably, Henrik's in the Doctor's universe was at one point known as Henrik & Son. (PROSE: The Time Traveller's Almanac)

Products[[edit] | [edit source]]

Henrik & Son stocked "a wide range of books for all ages and with low prices and some great special offers". They stocked cookbooks, Pod guides, and the "latest bestseller to classic literature". Some specific books they stock were: John Lumic: Man of Steel, The Strong Survive, and The Light of the Moon. (PROSE: The Bookstore)

There was also an exclusive ice cream flavour produced by Millingdale, Henrik's Surprise, that was sold at Henrik & Son. It apparently replaced Christmas Surprise, despite its popularity. (PROSE: Our Flavours)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

One various dates, there were plans for book signings: on 13 February, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, Darren Timoney would do a book signing of his biography on John Lumic, John Lumic: Man of Steel; on 20 February, Jackie Tyler would do a signing of her biography from 1:30PM to 3:00PM; and on 21 February, Arthur Leyden would do a signing of his new novel, The Light of the Moon. (PROSE: The Bookstore) However, as the rise of the Cybermen occurred in early February 2007, with Jackie Tyler being converted, these plans were presumably abandoned. (TV: The Age of Steel)

During the conflict against the Cybermen, (WC: Secret Code, et al.) the readers of Defending the Earth! were sent to henriksonline.co.uk by "ChatGuest1", they accessed the Millingdale website to find Henrik's Surprise ice cream flavour, which contained a password hidden in plain sight. They returned to the Henrik's online website, as the excerpt of John Lumic: Man of Steel contained an implicit reference to where they needed to enter the password. (GAME: Cybus Spy)
