Rulebook was the tenth story of the sixth season of Big Finish Productions' Short Trips series.

The Ellani of Beadledom 3 lived their lives in regulated harmony until they were invaded by the Valtor. Of course the Doctor and his new companion Peri were delighted to help out, but they didn't know their biggest challenge wouldn't be the Valtor army, but the Rulebook...

- The Valtor are a cyborg species. The Doctor puts their invasion fleet into maintenance mode.
- The transmat is used only for freight.
- There are at least eight planets in the Beadledom system.
- The Doctor's defeat of the Valtor, before the Ellani fleet arrives to assist, wastes 2.7 billion credits.
