TV Comic was a weekly magazine published in Britain from 1951 to 1984. It printed Doctor Who strips from 1964 to 1979 except for 1971 to 1973. During those years, publisher Polystyle Publications, Ltd. opted to use the Doctor Who strip to anchor their then-new magazine, TV Action/Countdown instead.
