Lost and Found was the sixth story of the sixth season of Big Finish Productions' Short Trips series. It was read by Anneke Wills.

Publisher's summary

The post-war London of 1948 is rebuilding, the people are recovering, and Ben and Polly have arrived with an old friend with a new face. But they're not the only visitors. A very different kind of war is being fought, in a department store, and they are in the middle of it...

  • As a child, Ben often searched wreckage left by bombs from World War II with his friends. They sometimes found the rotting corpses of animals trapped in the explosion.
  • Polly lived in Hampshire when she was a child.
  • In 1948, the six-year-old Polly visited Henrik's with her mother. While there, she saw tinned baked beans for the first time and lost her beloved teddy bear.
  • Polly's parents always referred to Londoners as "brave Londoners" because of everything that they had suffered during World War II.
  • As a child, Polly had a Golden Retriever named Belle.
