It's Christmas time, there's no need to be afraid...
The TARDIS has landed in a winter wonderland and the weather outside is frightful.
A world of dread and fear and it's not just the frost that is cruel...
It's Christmas Eve, but will the Doctor and Steven get to see another one?

- This story was recorded on 19 November 2016 at Ladbroke Audio.
- While no temporal or spatial setting is explicitly given in this story outside of Christmas on Earth, the use of a gramophone suggests the 20th century; while the character's names, the reference to the Weihnachtsmann, and the title of the story ("Oh Christmas Tree" in German) suggest a setting in Germany.

- The Doctor states that Hermann’s body is “wearing a bit thin” and that it “happens to [everybody].” (TV: The Tenth Planet, The Day of the Doctor)
