Fear of the Daleks was the second story of the first series of The Companion Chronicles, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Patrick Chapman, narrated by Wendy Padbury and featured the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot.

Zoe Heriot explains to her counsellor that she remembers her reoccurring nightmares about monsters and stowing away on the TARDIS to join the Doctor and Jamie on their adventures, despite the Doctor's efforts to convince her to leave by showing her his last encounter with the Daleks. After the Doctor realizes that showing her the Daleks may have frightened her, he assures her that the Daleks have been destroyed and admits that her intelligence could be useful.
