Damascus was the eighth story of the sixth season of Big Finish Productions' Short Trips series. Unlike other Short Trips, this story was written in the style of a Companion Chronicle, with the main character recounting the events of the adventure into a tape recorder.
The main character is also a topic of interest, as Tim Treloar plays the Prime Minister first mentioned in TV: The Green Death who is only referred to as Jeremy.
Publisher's summary
As the decade in English history which attracts the greatest quantity of alien invasions per annum, the 1970s are not the easiest time in which to steer the great British ship of state. The Prime Minister, nonetheless, is doing the very best job he can. Still, at least he has UNIT to rely on – their eccentric, bouffant-haired scientific adviser in particular. Or does he?
