Goritania was a country of which Rudolph was the crown prince in the 1780s.
The Tenth Doctor had never heard of it and found it difficult to find. This was due to a Mefistole bargain. This bargain made the country invisible. Because of this at the time of Death and the Queen Goritania had not had a war in 500 years.
This also was seen in the Flag of Goritania as was also a declaration of eternal peace.
6 Months after the Events of Death and the Queen the Goritania changed from a monarchy to a republic, and ist name from "The Kingdom of Goritania" to "The peoples republic of Goritania" (AUDIO: Death and the Queen)
