The Doctor's TARDIS contained a boot cupboard.

History

When the Fourth Doctor gave Sarah Jane Smith a tour of the TARDIS, he showed her the boot cupboard, remarking that it was "not very interesting". Sarah thought that it was enormous. At that time, the boot cupboard contained a white lamp, white walls, a portrait on the walls, brown floors and a sofa. (TV: The Masque of Mandragora)

While looking for Leela aboard the TARDIS, the Fourth Doctor checked the boot cupboard, the sculleries, both swimming pools and the lagoon. He found her in the library, reading. (AUDIO: White Ghosts)

While searching for another, smaller cupboard, the Sixth Doctor first found the boot cupboard. Melanie Bush marvelled at its vast size. (AUDIO: The Ultimate Poe)

During the Seventh Doctor's time, the boot cupboard contained a sign which read, "Quiet, or tongues will wag". (COMIC: Cat Litter)

When the Eighth Doctor tidied up the boot cupboard, he discovered a brochure for a 2074 conference on 20th century science fiction. (PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen)

After an ordeal with the Paradoxica on Flask and Delivia, Tania Bell found the TARDIS boot cupboard. She was joined by Andy Davidson, who found it cosy here. (AUDIO: Patience)

While giving Gabby Gonzalez a tour of the TARDIS, the Tenth Doctor showed her the boot cupboard, which was at that time a small shelf located in a TARDIS corridor. (COMIC: Laundro-Room of Doom)
