Mrs Temple was a Coal Hill teacher. She was working during the Coal Hill Halloween Fayre when Clara Oswald accused her of telling Susie White that she'd never see her cat Smudge again. Mrs Temple had no idea what Clara was talking about, as Mrs Temple had just got back from getting a cup of tea. Susie explained that it was another "little fat lady"—Miss Chief—who said this.
