Sri Lanka — known in the early 20th century as Ceylon — was a country to which Jimmy Turner was posted by UNIT sometime soon after his marriage to Isobel Watkins. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)

Ceylon was an island in the south of Asia.[1] It was located roughly south of Hindoostan, just east of Cape Comorin. It was south-west of the Bay of Bengal and south-east of the Arabian Sea. (TV: Survivors of the Flux)
