It featured the Third Doctor and Jo Grant and was available to subscribers of Big Finish's main Doctor Who range whose subscription included An Alien Werewolf in London. It was one of five runner-up entries in the 2017 Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trip Opportunity commissioned for the Subscriber Short Trips, and it also introduced the character of Terry Grant, Jo Grant's father.
