Boris Johnson was, by the 21st century, the Mayor of London and later the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. By some accounts, he was reborn with Half-Head Pierrot, becoming a perfect Auton host for the Nestene Consciousness. (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene, Out of the Box, AUDIO: Here Today) Another account, however, indicated that Johnson was a human. (PROSE: Edge of Glory)
Biography
In the aftermath of the 5 March 2005 incident, (PROSE: The Secret Lives of Monsters) a decaying Auton called the Half-Head Pierrot housed the remains of the Nestene Consciousness. The Consciousness, indignant after its defeat by a Time Lord and a human, swore a revenge "so subtle" it could take over "fifteen years" to complete; in the ruins of a government building, the Consciousness found a blonde man pinned under a concrete beam who had a substrata that the Consciousness knew yielded potential for its plan. The giggling Auton initiated the transformation by taking the hand of the man, and both the Auton and the human became nothing, a new entity being reborn from their scattered atoms. A perfect duplicate of the human, the Consciousness was extraordinarily pleased with its new suited body. The new and amused Auton thought to itself "This is going to be fun!" (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene) A small, intelligent computer known as Box, knew a "plastic duplicate" had become the prime minister by 2019. (PROSE: Out of the Box)
Boris Johnson was the Mayor of London during Monos' graffiti attacks on London landmarks in 2012. When he gave a statement to the press on BBC News, he promised that the miscreant would be sorry for his actions. (COMIC: Sticks & Stones)
By 2020, Johnson was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He was kidnapped by Sorb and Sarg and stored on their ship. Lucy Wilson and Hobo Kostinen later freed him along with the rest of the human race. (PROSE: Edge of Glory)
He was seemingly not the Prime Minister on 1 January, 2021, as Jo Patterson won an election and was elected, but was soon killed by the Daleks after refusing to surrender to them. (TV: Revolution of the Daleks)
Legacy
Annie jokingly referred to the Russian mercenary Grigor as "Boris-not-Johnson". (AUDIO: And You Will Obey Me)
Giles told the PROBE team he "didn't want to be Boris Johnson". (PROSE: The Door We Forgot)
Personality and traits
The Nestene Consciousness recognised the blond politician's emotions included a mix of greed, lust, ambition, joy, and power. (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene)
Behind the scenes
Boris Johnson's likeness appears on a gigantic humanoid machine which chases the Eleventh Doctor and Alice Obiefune in the 2017 comic Remembrance. This machine lives on the planet Britzit-247 alongside a bloodthirsty horde of individuals resembling Nigel Farage.
In the real world, Boris Johnson succeeded Theresa May as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom following her resignation in 2019. He served as Prime Minister from 2019 to 2022, resigning due to a widespread sense of dissatisfaction in his leadership following numerous controversies (including the Partygate scandal).
After Boris Johnson announced the assembly of four new committees to coordinate various aspects of the COVID-19 outbreak that would report their work in daily meetings dubbed "C-19 meetings", some media outlets reported the reaction of Doctor Who fans who noted a similarity between that of the sinister Department C19.[1][2]
Russell T Davies for the Doctor Who: Lockdown! rewatch wrote Revenge of the Nestene, in which the last trace of the Nestene Consciousness merges with someone blond in Westminster. It is heavily implied that they are Boris Johnson, who in 2005 was an MP. The short story Out of the Box, which is set in 2019, later stated that "the P.M." was "a plastic duplicate".
He was played by Christian Brassington in the docudrama When Boris Met Dave and James Corden in a Saturday Night Live sketch.
