• 17-18 January - The Big Finish audio story Emissary of the Daleks was recorded at the Moat Studios.
• 22-23 January - The Big Finish audio story Memories of a Tyrant was recorded at the Moat Studios.
• 23 January - Location filming on series 12 of Doctor Who began in Cape Town, South Africa.
• 29-30 January - The Big Finish audio story Tartarus was recorded at the Moat Studios.

February

• 5 February - Big Finish's audiobooks Under ODIN's Eye and The Meaning of Red was recorded at WiseBuddah.
• 6-7 February - The audiobook version of Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Infernal Nexus was recorded at Audio Sorcery.
• 7 February - Filming in South Africa ended very early in the morning at Bowmans on Bree Street. Location filming also took place at Kogel Bay in Western Cape, Kersefontein Guest Farm in Hopefield, Table Mountain and the Taal Monument.
• 10 February - Filming then took place in Cardiff.
• 11 February - Filming in Cardiff concluded.
