Midwinter Murders was the tenth release in the Iris Wildthyme audio series. It was the third story in the third season. It was written by George Mann.

  • The title is a reference to the ITV detective drama Midsomer Murders, with Inspector Nettles being a reference to the actor, John Nettles, who played the original lead, Tom Barnaby, in the series. Sergeant Spartan is play on the name of Sergeant Troy.
  • This audio drama was recorded on 4 and 5 December 2011.
