The Netherlands (Nederland), (TV: The Bounty Hunter) sometimes known as Holland, was a nation in Europe within the Northern Hemisphere of Earth.

Early history

In the 1620s, Dutch colonists in America established the town of New Amsterdam, which became a city in 1653. Eleven years later, New Amsterdam was attacked and taken by the English, who renamed it New York. In the early 21st century, rising sea levels caused by global warming flooded the Netherlands, forcing the Dutch people to become refugees.
