- There is no Dr Who's Time Tale this issue, even though the cover states "Four Great Comic Strips!"
- The photograph of the Pirate Captain used on the cover is printed in reverse in accordance with graphic design rules to have figures facing to the centre and not facing off the cover. This explanation is given in DWM 43's Gallifrey Guardian.
