The 352nd issue of Doctor Who Magazine was released on 6 January 2005, and was pulled from British newsstands on 2 February 2005.

This was a milestone issue as it was the first to bear the logo of the first Russell T Davies era, and the first to feature a totally revamped design template. Although the magazine had been covering the BBC Wales series for a few months prior to this issue, the emphasis radically shifted in this issue. From this issue forward, new series information began to predominate. The magazine, which had been produced as a stapled spine, would also become a bound-printed magazine for the first time and this would continue through its run.

Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper both made their costumed debuts on the cover of this issue as the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler, respectively. This was also the cover debut of the Doctor's newest sonic screwdriver model and the first of the diode-bearing models to be photographed.
