This 118th issue of Doctor Who Magazine had a cover date of November 1986. This was the last cover to feature Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor before his last regular appearance in The Ultimate Foe. The last appearance in his tenure would go to DWM 125, however.

- The Daleks - Fish and chips, the Royal Family, Doctor Who and the Daleks: British side by side. If Doctor Who ended tomorrow, for years to come we would still see children playing at being Daleks, just as they did in the lengthy gap - five years - between Evil of the Daleks and The Day of the Daleks. What made them quite so popular no one knows; perhaps they fill a gap that most fantasy creations in the 1960s were unable to.
