Coal Hill School had a tuck shop in the 1960s. After sleeping at the school overnight in April 1963, Susan Foreman, John Brent and Gillian Roberts broke into the tuck shop to steal some food. They "made a feast" of cold Cadbury's chocolate and Smith's crisps. As the only beverage the shop had was Tizer, Susan broke into the Staff Common Room to make some tea. (PROSE: Time and Relative)
