Doctor Who Magazine 517 was the issue of the magazine cover-dated November 2017.

Much of the issue paid tribute to two people associated with the Innes Lloyd and Peter Bryant eras of Doctor Who who had died earlier in 2017: actor Deborah Watling and actor, writer, and script editor Victor Pemberton. Despite this, the cover image marked 30 years since Sylvester McCoy's first appearance as the Seventh Doctor in the serial Time and the Rani.
