References
- Captain Roja mentions the Shadow Proclamation.
- The vaults contain a Martian sword, but the Master doesn't recognise the dynasty or period.
- The Master sees a whale shark in the ocean surrounding the Repository.
Notes
- Captain Roja's name is a reference to Roger Delgado.
- Georgina's name is a reference to the daughter of Katy Manning, who debuted as Jo Grant in TV: Terror of the Autons with Delgado's incarnation of the Master, and would appear in all his subsequent television appearances with him.
- The vaults contain round canisters with faded writing, one of which is labelled "The Traitors" - an in-joke reference to the missing fourth episode of The Daleks' Master Plan.
- This story was recorded on 11 May 2020 at LA Productions.
Continuity
- The Master is experienced in various techniques of miniaturisation. (TV: Terror of the Autons)
- Before coming to the ocean planet the Repository is located on, the Master visited a jungle planet and acquired the Devolver gun by miniaturizing a large abandoned structure into a portable weapon. (AUDIO: The Enemy of My Enemy)
- The Master leaves a pre-recorded message in his TARDIS's console room. (TV: The Parting of the Ways)
- As the Personality leeches begin to affect him, the Master feels remorse for all the people he had killed, something that Missy would also do after being imprisoned beneath St Luke's University by the Twelfth Doctor for many years. (TV: The Lie of the Land)
- Much the way the fifth Doctor heard the voices of past enemies and companions during his regeneration, the Master hears voices chiding him for all of his recriminations as he regenerates.
