The Doctor of the Daft Dimension also travelled in a TARDIS.

Shortly after his regeneration from his predecessor, the Twelfth Doctor decided to overhaul the look of the control room to be extremely minimalistic, replacing the time rotor with a simple wooden box with a lever that could be pulled from "past" to "future". His companion Clara Oswald gently tried to get him to understand that his idea was far too simplified even though she did understand his yearning for a new radical look.
