Irving Braxiatel's TARDIS
Irving Braxiatel owned a Type 80 TARDIS.
History[[edit] | [edit source]]
Braxiatel's TARDIS was a Type 80 with a white console room. (AUDIO: Death and the Daleks [+]Loading...["Death and the Daleks (audio story)"]) He once remarked that nobody had ever managed to break through its doors. (AUDIO: Escaping the Future [+]Loading...["Escaping the Future (audio story)"])
After Braxiatel refused to leave Dellah for Gallifrey, the Time Lords recalled his TARDIS, (PROSE: Where Angels Fear [+]Loading...["Where Angels Fear (novel)"]) but he was once again in possession of it when he ran the Braxiatel Collection, disguising it as his office. (AUDIO: Death and the Daleks [+]Loading...["Death and the Daleks (audio story)"]) Although it was originally capable of providing a large amount of energy, this was no longer the case by the time that Braxiatel's people were doomed. (AUDIO: Escaping the Future [+]Loading...["Escaping the Future (audio story)"])
When the Fifth Axis occupied the Collection, they attempted to learn the whereabouts of Braxiatel's TARDIS and were ultimately unsuccessful in acquiring it. Adrian Wall offered to redecorate the interior if Braxiatel ever got bored of white circles (AUDIO: Death and the Daleks [+]Loading...["Death and the Daleks (audio story)"]) and Braxiatel later gave it a jade colour scheme. However, he began redecorating as he did not care much for it. (AUDIO: Escaping the Future [+]Loading...["Escaping the Future (audio story)"])
Braxiatel rescued Romana's third incarnation from a dead TARDIS by materialising his ship around her. (AUDIO: Intervention Earth [+]Loading...["Intervention Earth (audio story)"]) He later used his TARDIS to travel back in time to avert Romana's second regeneration, retrieving her second incarnation from the Moros. (AUDIO: Enemy Lines [+]Loading...["Enemy Lines (audio story)"])
During the early stages of the Time War Braxiatel used his TARDIS to travel to the heart of the Obscura, return Ace to Earth, (AUDIO: Soldier Obscura [+]Loading...["Soldier Obscura (audio story)"]) and rescue Narvin from the Project Revenant facility in the collapsing Kaiphos Occlusion. (AUDIO: Desperate Measures [+]Loading...["Desperate Measures (audio story)"]) He later used the TARDIS to rescue Romana from Daleks on Unity, (AUDIO: Dissolution [+]Loading...["Dissolution (audio story)"]) and then flew the ship through the event horizon of a black hole to reach the Beyond.
After Braxiatel was killed by the Ravenous, Romana used the ship to return to the universe, (AUDIO: Beyond [+]Loading...["Beyond (audio story)"]) however was immediately ambushed and captured by Daleks. She and Leela later used the TARDIS to escape the Dalek Emperor's saucer moments before its destruction. Lord President Eternal Rassilon subsequently had the TARDIS diverted to the Cloisters so he could capture them. (AUDIO: Homecoming [+]Loading...["Homecoming (audio story)"])
