Korea

Korea was a region in Asia that, in the 20th century, was divided into two separate nations, North Korea and South Korea. (TV: The New World ^[+]Loading...["The New World (TV story)"]) According to the Tenth Doctor, Gunjaji Guk and Geumgangsan were other names for Korea, meaning "Land of Scholarly Gentleman" and "Land of Embroidered Rivers and Mountains" respectively. History

In December 1950, Rhodes fought with US Army against the Red Chinese, who came across the Yalu out of Manchuria, on a frozen hilltop south of the Changjin Reservoir in Korea. (COMIC: The Good Soldier)

The Eleventh Doctor (with River Song present) won a game of draughts against the ruler of North Korea, Kim "Someone-or-other" during the 1950s.
