If you need to leave a message here on my talk page, please follow a couple of guidelines:

  • Please don't forget to sign your posts. Like most admins, I won't answer any post that doesn't have a signature.
  • Also, if you are starting a new topic, please add a new heading.

Also also please don't use my talk page to argue with other users.

Congratulations on making this site totally inaccessible for a new user. Nice one. What a waste of ah hour that was. ————

WaltK's ban

Hello! Just notifying you that User:WaltK posted a message on your Community Central talk page appealing a ban you gave him, in case you didn't get a notification. His case seems reasonable at first glance, though I haven't looked into it personally. Scrooge MacDuck 21:02, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

Well, you never replied, so he contacted me as per Help:I'm blocked. I've taken it upon myself to unblock him. Although his message did contain profanity it wasn't a personal attack directed at any individual, so I think the time he's already been blocked is plenty sufficient for procedure — and he does do very useful work in the main namespace on the Doctor Whoah! pages and whatnot, whatever he'd done in the Discussions area. Sock puppetry and likely vandalism

Tally

Hi there, I just found myself having some difficulty counting up the marks in the Tally on your user page. So in case you want to replicate regular tally marks where every group of 5 is signified by four lines struck through, I thought I'd let you know that this Chinese symbol exists: 卌. (Of course, you could just use ||||, but where's the fun in that?) Hope you've been well! – n8 () 14:06, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

Rename Tag

Hey, I noticed you've asked for a rename tag for the page: https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Segun_Akinola_Lietmotivs

I'd like to change it to "Segun Akinola's Leitmotifs" but I have no idea how to make a rename tag. When I try and find other tags I don't see rename and then I'm not sure how to add it to the article in question.

Do you have a guide for this?

Thank you :)

FandomDesktop migration

Hey there! We are due to migrate this wiki very soon to FandomDesktop and I need to help get a light theme ready. Apologies for the short notice of this, there were some unforeseen circumstances.

It would be great to work with the entire admin team to get the wiki ready for FandomDesktop. Have you been using the new skin? I'm going to start some preparation tomorrow and it would be great to work with the admin team on this. We may need to:

  • Adjust the theme on light theme
  • Adjust templates
  • Adjust CSS/JS
  • and more potentially.

If you have any suggestions for how we can collaborate, please let me know. I wondered if a forum thread on Forum:Index might work? Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to hearing from you! --Spongebob456 talk <staff/> 18:47, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

Timeline template

I'm a new user on this fandom, though I am currently the owner of Eminem Wiki, so I'm not a complete stranger to editing templates. I noticed your timeline template has things a bit out of order and doesn't include certain years. I was wondering if you could give me an opportunity to take a look at it and see if I could make it properly display the years on the Timeline template. However, I will not complete any edits without running it by you.

Timeline update #2

So, I believe that I've come up with a solution to the issue with the timeline template, though, I did create a new page called Template:Order of Centuries, which is useless and should be deleted. I'm not entirely sure of my revision for the Timeline template issue, so I'm going to give it a shot under Template:TimelineRevision. If it works (and I'm going to test it out briefly on the Timeline page), I'll let you know.

Little Shop page

Hi there! I created a page named Little Shop and you removed it because you don’t make pages about running gags. May I ask why? It may be a stupid question but I’m just curious. Caroline 00:45, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

The Master page

Hi. I think The Master page may need a bit of admin work to fix the vandalism from our recently blocked "friend". The page has the correct title at the top of the page, but the infobox, talk page, and history pages still have the vandalised title. And there is still a redirect as well. Dalek Page Vandalism

It's come to my eyes that upon loading the wiki, someone has vandalised the Dalek page and called it JEWS MUST BE EXTERMINATED! It seems upon viewing that someone saw this and made a first time edit to remove an antisemetic comment at the top of the page and they have left a note about it requesting that a mod or admin clear everything up. However, the page name remains the questionable statement.

Fandom projects

Hi! Got a couple of things:

As this wiki used to use Special:Forum, Fandom wants to make sure that old forum links and references aren't cluttering up maintenance special pages (unusedfiles, needed pages etc). Would you mind checking and letting me know asap as to whether that's an issue for this wiki? Just looking for dead links to forums in special pages, or links to images used in forums but are now dead, stuff like that. No need to attempt to cleanup yourself, I just need to know if they exist.

Secondly, did you receive an email sent last week I believe inviting you to The Downstream on September 10th? The email is titled "[The Downstream] Ask Fandom Anything, Social Media Tips, and Data Insights". I just want to confirm you received the email as we know Fandom outreach emails often land in spam.

If you could let me know about both of those things, that would be fantastic. Thanks! --Spongebob456 talk <staff/> 09:44, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi there, just a reminder that The Downstream is Friday, September 10 at 11am EST at https://www.twitch.tv/Fandom. You can register/RSVP and add the event to your calendar here. That page also gives a lot of detail on what the event offers. Any questions, please let me know! --Spongebob456 talk <staff/> 12:11, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Lavel Article Name change

The Lavel article has had a {{rename}} tag on it for over 4 years, and no one other than myself has made any kind of discussion on the article talk page regarding the name change. Given the sheer amount of time for users to discuss such a change, unless you or another admin has any objections, I move to change the article name, either by myself if I can get the go-ahead, or an admin with more familiarity with the process. Checking in

Hi there! Sorry it has been a little while since I last checked in, I have been out of action for the last two weeks unfortunately. How are things going? One thing I did notice was that the navigation in dark theme, the Explore tab in white is hard to read. Have you guys noticed that? Figured if we do what we did before and if we continue a single thread on my talk page, it might be easier for us to keep track. Hope that's ok! :) --Spongebob456 talk <staff/> 09:02, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

Forum Confusion

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but I wasn't sure where I should ask. I wanted to make a forum post - specifically in the Panopticon, regarding something I'm really campaigning for something to change on the wiki.

I've been out of the loop for a while and the Fandom updates sure do confuse me, but I digress.

When I try to make a forum post here I get hit with a "You do not have permission to edit pages in the Forum namespace." I know forums weren't a thing for a bit but I see they're here now and would like some clarification on this!

Thanking you!

Reverted page moves

Hi, I'm terribly sorry but I noticed that you reverted both of the page moves I made today (FI's teas and Depositary 23) with the explanation "Cleaning up after page move by non-admin" and I was wondering if you'd be willing to tell me why, so I can avoid making similar mistakes in future? I thought I had reasonable grounds for both moves, and that neither would break anything (both pages being fairly minor articles and leaving the redirects); is there a blanket ban on non-admin users moving pages or something? Apologies Starkidsoph 05:28, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Concern about New User on the Discussion Baords

I'm concerned that a new user on the discussion boards, DoctorsIBS, is a troll as they are not only spamming posts, but being generally unpleasant in their choice of posts and discussions. Lucian Corbyn 20:57, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Question

While I do apologise for choosing the edit summary as the place to initially bring this up, as you can't exactly have any sort of nuanced discussion there due to its format and this is the kind of thing that needs slightly more nuanced discussion, but if I may ask;

WHY is it that;

1. Any other kind of adaptation (such as audio adaptation, TV adaption of an EU story, etc.) is listed seperately in the infobox

2. Novelisations themselves are listed seperately in "list of appearances" pages

3. Novelisations aren't listed seperately in infoboxes

Seems a bit... just odd to me, is all. NightmareofEden 10:35, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Why don’t you have certain rules that you often bring up in the discussions guidelines?

You always tell users to contact an admin's talk page for stuff to do with the main wiki rather than bringing if to discussions, but why do you not have that in the wiki guidelines? This includes other stuff such as no advertising other wikis, always have titles that "make sense", complain about other users on an admin's talk page if you feel they've done something wrong, and no celebrating their birthday. (unless it's Doctor Who themed, I guess) I bet you could think of more examples. Why are rules like those rules not in the guidelines? It would save you and other users time cause you wouldn't have to warn them about it (at least if they've read the guidelines). GaganTopia 01:49, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

Re: User questions

Hi, I was not intending to present myself as an experienced editor with whom people can come to for general questions. When it comes to most things, including policy, I agree that an admin eould be better. However, I have spent the majority of my time here on Tardis looking into the technical side of editing, including a lot of time spent on the forums situation. Therefore, I would consider myself more experienced on this topic then most editors and am happy to share what I know when it is relevant. Links in the forum posts

Good day to you, Shamb. I have a quick question about the policy against links in forum posts. Are users prohibited from posting any links or just links that promote their sites/blogs and whatnot? Hey there!

So, I’ve noticed this wiki is lacking on Discussions Moderators. I’m a discussions mod on another wiki (the Miitopia wiki), and I seem to do well there, so I’ve been thinking I could maybe be a Discussions Mod here? Now, obviously I’m not the most active user here right now, but I could become more active, as I am a big fan of the show and I’d be willing to help out with the moderation. What are the qualifications for being a mod here, exactly? Thanks - GaganTopia 19:04, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

Off-topic Megathread?

So I’ve seen a few wikis with off-topic megathreads (Jurassic Park wiki being one example), which are basically discussions threads where users can post whatever they want that is not related to the subject of the wiki (in this case Doctor Who) in the replies to that thread. We could put it in FANDOM posts, so it’s easier to find, and we can tell users about it whenever a discussion is or goes off-topic. Maybe we could call it “The Void” too, as it is technically outside of “the universe of the wiki”. What do you think about this idea? GaganTopia 19:13, 23 February 2022 (UTC)

This user has an inappropriate pfp

User:Dejdhdjdjdjfxjx As you can see by looking closely, their pfp is of a (trouser-covered) buttock. What should we do? Should we warn them to change their pfp with the punishment for not changing it being block, or should we block them instantly, or something else? GaganTopia 21:12, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Sorry, I never meant to offend you

I did not mean any offence by saying that you were not responding to my talk pages, I was just saying it in case the users I told the things to instead of you pointed out that I already told it to you. Never meant to cause offence

Please accept my apologies. Could you please advise further about how to go about having the debate as to whether said characters are companions? Apologies again. Gearedspy 11:35, 8 March 2022 (UTC)

I confess, I had an old account here

The account was called King of the Sandmen. I was hesitant to tell you this, as I was worried you would punish me for using multiple accounts (even if they were mainly used at different times and none of them were used to evade any bans, and I now find out this does not violate T:SOCK due to the reasons above and the fact that I have added it to my user page), but now I have decided to tell you. I switched my account from King of the Sandmen to GaganTopia in August to hide my identity from another wiki. I claimed he was my cousin, even on here, because I didn’t want the other wiki to see and find out the truth, but I have revealed the truth to you, and on my user page, and later, I may reveal it to the rest of the wiki in a post saying how I really got into Doctor Who. Proof of him being me and what I did which made me switch accounts is on this thread from another wiki in December last year - https://third-claric.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000027551

I’ve just been wondering, since this means I’ve been posting here for nearly a year now (since April the 2nd), does that mean I can get discussions moderator rights sooner? Allow me to remind you that I applied for the rights to you last month and have been showing I can prove myself multiple times. If I can’t get them sooner, due to using a previous active alt from here to fit in with the requirements, or just multiple accounts not being allowed to be used on here (though I wasn’t using them to get around any ban), or something else, then that’s fine. I will still go on to show that I can prove myself, as I’m sure I would be very good at the job, as I am super active and I understand the rules and can explain them to users as you do, and I’m sure I can hold off trolls in discussions till the admins block them. It’s up to you guys though. So yeah, share your thoughts.

Thanks - GaganTopia 19:22, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

Re: Epsilon

(Thank you for stepping in, I think another pair of eyes was needed.)

Regarding Epsilon, as I told User:DrWHOCorrieFan, I vaguely thought a further warning from me would be redundant because DrWHOCorrieFan themself had already reproached Epsilon for it — even if they shouldn't have assumed the authority to do so — and I assumed Epsilon would see my message to DrWHOCorrieFan in which I granted that their message itself had been correct.

But — thinking about it more — yeah, I think you're right. Epsilon likely got the message in practice, but all the same, this was a bit muddled and illegible from an outside view — and that outside view does matter. I'll go and leave a pro forma message at User talk:Epsilon the Eternal. Scrooge MacDuck 23:56, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

T:NO RW

Hello Shambala108,

I was wondering if you would care to take a look at the discussion over at Talk:Larcenia Floyd. The discussion is in regards to T:NO RW, which was edited by User:Scrooge MacDuck mid-discussion due to the policy being "outdated" and there being a general consensus in place, however I recall that at Talk:Shrek your idea of T:NO RW was more akin to mine. I thought your input would be important here. DrWHOCorrieFan 19:48, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

I believe User:DrWHOCorrieFan is referring to the discussion at Talk:Shrek#Characters shown on the poster? concerning the blurry characters on the Shrek poster. Just to be clear, my recent update to T:NO RW had nothing to do with this, and instead served to clarify the common practice on conjectural names. Feel free to check out the talk page, though! Scrooge MacDuck 19:51, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
I don't believe that it has nothing to do with this.
The comment Shambala agreed with was; "isn't that breaking some sort of rule about putting real-world information onto pages as their counterparts in the DWU could be completely different". They stated "The above is true: T:NO RW". Larcenia Floyd was not named in the source material so therefore, like these characters, it would be a breach of the original T:NO RW (prior to your edits) as it would include putting real-world information onto pages despite the fact that their counterparts in the DWU could be different.
I have nothing more to say as I'm going round it circles, but Shambala seemed to agree with the original rule so might have objections to your changing it. I will leave it with them and if they want to involve themselves they can. DrWHOCorrieFan 19:57, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

Spoilers

Hi please make sure to read our spoiler policy at Tardis:Spoiler policy. No matter how official something is, on this wiki it's considered a spoiler until air time of an episode with the information. The posts you have made on the discussion board have been deleted because you did not put them in the Spoilers category. Thanks Shambala108 03:15, 13 May 2022 (UTC)

As talk pages are no longer fully supported by Fandom, I'm posting this both as an edit to the original post on my talk page and am posting it on the talk page of the editor who posted on my talk page.
As it happens, I did read the Spoiler policy and also the Spoiler page which defines spoiler differently. By both of those, I personally don't see this as a spoiler. Among many other sources, it's been publicly reported as headline news (i.e. even without reading the article, the information is in the headline) by:

Even doing just a basic search for "Doctor Who," that information pops up as one of the top results.
"Spoiler" is apparently applied on this wiki in a way that doesn't fit English language definitions of the word.
For example, Merriam-Webster: "information about the plot of a motion picture or TV program that can spoil a viewer's sense of surprise or :suspense" also "a person who discloses such information."
Perhaps you might want to find or even create a word that would have the definition you intend. This could be a word that would clarify that you do not allow on-topic public information that appears in so many sources that it's hard to avoid seeing it.
I hope this helps!

I didn't see any information on how you want someone to post in "namespace of talk pages" that would reach this wiki's community as a whole (which Fandom requires be the final decision maker on community issues), or "forums" here. Can you give me a link to your required procedure? Thanks for your help. Alden Loveshade 04:16, 14 May 2022 (UTC)

T:SPOIL issue

Hey! To clarify: by no means did I 'scold' User:DrWHOCorrieFan for their initial suggestion. Insofar as I later 'scolded' them, it was for re-adding the potentially-spoilery talk page post itself, twice, after I had deleted it and explained in an edit summary why it could be construed as spoilery (and that discussion about this should be undertaken at Howling:The Howling instead). But DrWHOCorrieFan's original post itself was certainly in good faith and not something to be scolded for. This, I don't dispute. Scrooge MacDuck 02:37, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for weighing in. From what I can gather (had another reread) T:SPOIL prevents spoilers - it does not prevent someone from suggesting something could be spoilery or likely to be spoiled. Nothing in my post contained spoilers and would have not alerted the average reader to any spoilery information if they were not already clued in, it was incorrectly removed. But alas, it is not that much of a big deal. DrWHOCorrieFan 05:50, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

Checking in

Hey, just chiming in to check on something I noticed on your reply on User:DrWHOCorrieFan's talk page.

When you talk about "nothing being in written policy et al.", I assume you're having in mind those latest update to FANDOM's network-wide policy, right?

When it comes to guidances over the interpretation of policy, like before it becomes a blockable offence, I didn't interpret it as everything needing to be made explicit (though it never hurts to update our policies anyway, with you there :p).

Anyway, how've you been? Happy editings. OncomingStorm12th 19:44, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

Ironically all these discussions about my comment are just as spoilery as the original! DrWHOCorrieFan 19:56, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
Asking here in the offchance that you or OncomingStorm12th can clarify: the new updates to FANDOM policy still allow for "unwritten rules", right? They just say that these unwritten rules can't contradict the text of the policies as written.
I just want to avoid any appearance that my renames have been exploitation of any "loophole" where "nowhere does policy explicitly forbid it". Rather, I've been moving pages because policy explicitly allows it and doesn't leave a loophole. – n8 () 21:17, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

About that poll you recently locked

Hi, in case you didn't know, that was referencing a lost story of the Doctor Who spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures, specifically a scrapped story of that spinoff called The Thirteenth Floor. I just wanted to let you know this, seeing as it is DW related. The poll I'm referencing is here > https://tardis.fandom.com/d/p/4400000000003622349 Thanks. Unused account 537283837 10:16, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

I do agree with @Unused account 537283837; it very much is related to Doctor Who, just from an out-of-universe production standpoint. Definitely should be unlocked. 12:23, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

Apology

Hey Shambala108, just so you know I am the same user that write those yelling messages to user Ebyabe back in May 2016. I’m here to let you both know that I am deeply sorry for the way I spoke to him six years ago, I know now what I did was wrong before, because back then I didn’t know any better. But now since years when by, I now have deep regrets for the way I acted towards him on here, because the reason why I got angry with him is because I felt like I was being mistreated by him. But now I know it was just a misunderstanding. Please, I’m begging for forgiveness. Again, I am very, very, very, sorry for my past behavior towards him on his talk page all those years ago. I really hope you both can forgive me? Because I really mean it and I promise not to treat him like that again. Anonymously64 15:20, 10 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi

I want to ask you politely to please stop restoring my removed edits, because those are harassment posts I made in the past and I’m just trying to be polite by removing and be very apologetic about it to him. Can you please don’t touch my edits again please. Anonymously64 03:03, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Sorry

Look, I’m really sorry to say this to you. But no, that rule is completely dumb and ridiculous, so your telling me if someone leaves a harassing post on my talk page, can’t remove it and report it? That is so dumb. It’s my post and I have the right to remove it, again, it’s a harassment post and I was just trying to be nice by removing it and be very apologetic to him about it. Please, I’m asking you politely to just let me remove it and I will move in with my day. Please.

P.S. So all because I was trying to be nice by removing my harassment posts and be very apologetic about to him and yet you sill had the guts to block me over that… seriously!?!? 174.242.66.91talk to me 03:16, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Apology 2

Look, I’m really sorry for deleting those talk page messages. I was just trying to be nice and I was only trying to be very apologetic about my past behavior towards him back in 2016. Plus, the second reason I was removing those messages is because I didn’t want my real name on their, I just wanted to remove my real name because I keep my real name private for personal reasons. But why is that a rule? That we can’t remove our previous post in the past? Because first off, yes, I know what I did to him back in 2016 was wrong and yelling at him was also wrong too. Because Zit felt like I was being mistreated by him, that’s why I kept on getting angry at him before. Plus, I’m also sorry for removing your talk page posts on my user talk page too. I just get really nervous so easily and sometimes I just don’t know how to respond to them, I was just afraid you wouldn’t listen what I have to say if I explained myself. But now that you know, I hope you understand, Again, I am deeply sorry. 174.242.77.252talk to me 18:11, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Re: Spoilers

Sorry for the late reply, didn't notice that you had left a message on my talk page. I didn't know it was against policy until you pointed that policy out, as I've seen sandboxes with spoilers in before, as well as pages like list of future releases being contributed to by dozens of editors for years now. Nevertheless, I've removed the spoilers from my sandbox and reworked it to focus on only officially released material.

14:32, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

Actually, how come pages like list of future releases have been allowed and edited by numerous Admins if it's existence is against policy? 14:34, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
I do not appreciate the whataboutery that seems to be an attempt to get around the fact that User:Epsilon the Eternal/Ncuti Gatwa is a very blatant spoiler. The List of future releases page which many find incredibly useful/necessary shouldn't be put at risk for a page that can easily be held in storage elsewhere until the time is right. The main difference between the spoilers that the pages offer is that even the title of the Ncuti Gatwa page is a massive spoiler that can be seen whenever it is edited (Ncuti has never been in Doctor Who or had any association with the show so seeing a page being made for him exposes him now having a role) while the list of future releases page has an ambiguous title which is correctly labeled with spoiler tags within so only those actually looking for spoilers will find them. DrWHOCorrieFan 04:08, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

Community consensus

Hey, I happened to see the discussion over at User talk:Epsilon the Eternal about where spoilers are allowed, and the List of future releases set of pages specifically.

We don't yet have a working forum archive to check, but I'm not sure I remember a formal discussion happening. That said, I'd like to put forward that the pages themselves constitute clear community consensus, either way.

Now I don't want editors reading this to think that any action taken on the wiki which hasn't been reverted by an admin is proof that the rules have already changed. In fact, I need to point to T:POINT in the context of this discussion: please always discuss suggested changes, and do not attempt to exploit a loophole or apparent lack of oversight in order to prove your point. That way leads to very bad places.

That said, the "future releases" range has been a broad community effort for the past two-and-a-half years -- with diverse editors, spanning pretty much all our regular users, giving clear consent by their continued participation -- and it's very much in keeping with the spirit of T:SPOIL ALLOW.

I personally think they fall under series pages generally, but it would be good to add "Other overview type pages, like List of future releases", just to clear up any confusion about where spoilers are allowed.

If necessary, we can always add a note at Talk:List of future releases directly, noting the presumption of consensus by the majority of our editor base, in having maintained this page together these past couple years. (Tardis:Who writes policy)

I'm glad it's been pointed out that's missing. We should always aim to codify major new precedents on policy pages. Happy editing.

Re: Favor

Hi Shambala, thanks for reaching out! Happy to help.

I remember that there was a thread from my very early days on the wiki (late 2016, maybe?) that dealt with the Doctor Who Unbound stories. It concluded that, since The Unbound Universe showed that Sympathy for the Devil was set in a parallel universe to the main universe, all Unbound stories would be presumed to be parallel universes. So that would apply to He Jests at Scars... as well. I'm pretty positive that I'm remembering it correctly, but I'd feel better about it if someone could back me up. User:OncomingStorm12th might have been around then?

Hope you've been well! – n8 () 03:07, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

Hey! Hope you don't mind me butting in, but I've been looking around these Jests At Scars pages, and here's my two cents. Insofar as they should exist at all, the pages created with the dab term "(He Who Jests At Scars)" are certainly valid. As far as I can tell, the reason they didn't exist yet isn't a question of validity per se — rather, it's that the boundaries of when we create distinct pages for alternate-timeline versions of characters have always been a bit contentious.
For example, the Unbound Doctor of Sympathy for the Devil is an alternative Third Doctor, and a valid alternate timeline — but even though there existed a Second Doctor in his universe, we haven't created a separate page for him. The divergence between the Sympathy timeline occurs right after The War Games, so "the Second Doctor of the David Warner timeline" is for all intents and purposes identical to the prime-timeline version. (And, depending on the specific multiverse technobabble a given story uses, may be literally the same person.)
So when it comes to things like First Doctor (He Jests at Scars...) — many of these pages hadn't been created, not because this information isn't valid, but because we can just cover it at First Doctor#Alternate timelines. This First Doctor doesn't even diverge from the prime version at all. All we know about him is that in an alternative version of the Doctor's future, the Valeyard consiered interfering with his history and ultimately didn't. So a lot of these pages should be merged back into their prime counterparts' pages, IMO. (Though perhaps there are a few who deserve pages of their own that hadn't been created yet. The question should probably be examined case-by-case by someone who's listened to AUDIO: He Jests at Scars... recently…) Scrooge MacDuck 01:33, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
Yeah, I think Scrooge has it right. (Personally, I think we should just cover most of this material at First Doctor#Alternate timelines et al – but that would take a forum thread. Sigh.) But I see what you mean about the policy violations, so tomorrow when I have time I'll make sure to scroll through PepsiMagnet's pages and fix any apparent issues, if someone doesn't beat me to it. – n8 () 02:26, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Re: Categories

The page 'category:Guest character images' states "A good rule of thumb for this category and all its subsidiaries is, "If there's more than one image of the person, they're probably notable enough to get their own category. If they're someone like Guard (Children of Earth), they probably don't."". This suggested to me that any character for whom multiple images (even crops) exist could, within policy, have an image category. Does the rule of three still apply to image categorisation? Request or Questions

Dear Shambala108,

First of all, thank you for not banning me. That was kind. When I come across links to articles that don’t exist, do I make a starter article? There are some articles like this (unless wrong). Like for example, instead of a full article, something like this (please don’t take it seriously. It’s an example)

The 15th Doctor is the Fifthteenth Incarnation of the Doctor.

Biography

To be added

Am I allowed to do that? Also, am I allowed to make those theory pages that people make or discontinuity pages? Also, can you please add a photo for the Warrior in the Parallel Universes section of the Fifth Doctor article? I tried, but failed.

Thanks, PepsiMagnet

P.S, am I allowed to post wiki sandbox articles?

Wikify Own/Plagiarism/Sockpuppetry

Hey Shambala, hope you're doing alright. If you have the chance to look at the history at Russell McGee sometime that would be great. I have concerns because a user who goes by the username RussellMcGee77 repeatedly tried to edit it into basically being an advertisement for the author. A few days later (ie, last night) a new user with a different name made similar edits. Now, these edits could be coincidental, as the bio is from McGee's Goodreads, but he wrote his Goodreads bio, and if this is the case it's plagiarism, and if it's not it's a sockpuppet. I don't know what you want to do, I'd love to have a writer stick around and be a contributing member of the wiki outside of their own pages, but this whole thing feels a bit suspicious to me.
