Opus Majus was an unproduced Faction Paradox novella by Jim Mortimore. It was announced by Obverse Books for release in 2012, alongside Against Nature, The Brakespeare Voyage, Burning with Optimism's Flames, and The Moontree Women. Despite this, it was never released.[1]
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
In 1267 the Fransiscan monk Roger Bacon made such a fuss about the inaccuracies of the calendar that Pope Clement IV ordered he be sent on a quest to find the missing time. This ridiculous but hardly refusable mission is something of a problem for Bacon – but an even greater problem for Faction Paradox.
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- In 2017, Mortimore confirmed his intention to continue working on the book, citing his other projects.[2]

- ↑ Jim Mortimore: "It does, however remain high on my to-do list. I have all the research and a ton of notes sitting on my desk. I just haven't had time enough yet to construct the right framework for the story. Also... I keep getting good ideas to add to it, so I'm keen not to rush it."
