Padrac used a TARDIS. The Keeper of the Matrix used information from the TARDIS to determine what damage the Doom Coalition had done to the Time Vortex and Padrac locked River Song in there for a time whilst her identity was verified. He used his TARDIS to return from the Crucible of Souls to Gallifrey. (AUDIO: Songs of Love)
