The 359th issue of Doctor Who Magazine was current from 21 July through 17 August 2005.
This issue was notable as David Tennant's cover debut. It introduced him with the headline, "David Tennant is the Doctor," continuing the tradition of using this phrase for the incoming actor to play the Doctor.
Tennant is seen wearing the costume of the Ninth Doctor in a post-regeneration promotional picture for his upcoming tenure as the Tenth Doctor.
