Spiral was an artificial reality used by the interuniversal organisation Dawn as its headquarters. It had a huge wall filled with portals to all 10,000 Dawns, arranged in numerical order.

Its base was a grassy plain populated with dinosaurs, overlooked by a sky whose stars were bright at night. Most residents lived on floating island above this plain, which could have their own mini-biomes. As the head of Dawn, Kinan Jans was Spiral's "controller". (PROSE: Sonnenblumen)

At one point in the war, the Emissary, actually Auteur in disguise, travelled to Spiral to "report" the theft of a valuable guantlet by a Knight of Sky. Later, after the Christmas Needle Agreement was signed, Graelyn Scythes told Taranis that he was welcome in Spiral at any time. (PROSE: White Canvas)
