Great Assimilation

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Great Assimilation was an interdimensional empire from the 10,000 Dawns. Seeking to unify all ten thousand universes under their banner, they were a thorn in the side of the Firmament, and also enemies of the "Dawn" organisation. They were led by the Council of the Great Assimilation and its three joint Emperors.

Hyperion and Galvin were two members of the Great Assimilation who were disgraced for minor misbehaviour. They sought to win back favour by spying on the Arbiter of Eternity, the Firmament's leader. Through this observation, they learned of the Arbiter of Knives's mission to the Totality to steal the Book of Books and tried to get it first. After the Strid got it before anyone and asked the Arbiter and the Assimilation agents to each make a bid on behalf of their respective organisations, the Assimilation operatives offered the Strid a planet within the Assimilation, but also a prominent place in the Assimilation's interdimensional military, with a seat at the decision-making table. Ultimately, however, this became moot when Rachel Edwards blackmailed the Strid into giving the book back to her, and the interdimensional interlopers into retreating. (PROSE: Rachel Survived)

Representatives of the Great Assimilation travelled to the Needle for the Christmas Needle Agreement. Sergeant-Instructor Littlejohn, (PROSE: White Canvas) of the Great Houses, (PROSE: The Short Briefing Sergeant's Tale) was visibly unimpressed with their boasts of being an inter-universal empire.
