104-form

(Redirected from Type 104)

104-form timeships were the hypothetical next generation of timeship after the sentient and humanoid 103-forms. During the War in Heaven the cradle-engineers of the Great Houses believed that it would just be a matter of time until they evolved. On the Homeworld, there was an implicit understanding that no 103-form was as powerful as the one 102-form Compassion, and there was fear that recidivist 102-"genes" might be reactivated in 104-forms. During the proliferation of timeship types 150 years before the War, one of the varieties later reclassified as 89-form went by the name "Type 104". (PROSE: Crimes Against History [+]Loading...["Crimes Against History (short story)"])
