The 389th issue of Doctor Who Magazine was current from 15 November through 12 December 2007.

It was intended to be on British newsstands during the transmission of Time Crash.

Appropriately, it corrected a typographical mistake made on the cover of issue 61 by spelling Peter Davison's name correctly in the headline, "Peter Davison is the Doctor!" Editor Tom Spilsbury humorously made the magazine's long overdue public apology to Davison in his interior notes.

The issue also featured the results of the annual reader's poll, this time judging the merits of Series 3.
