Greece, also known as the Hellenic Republic, (TV: Children of Earth: Day Three ^[+]Loading...["Children of Earth: Day Three (TV story)"]) was a country in southern Europe, on Earth. Aliens frequently became involved in its history. Major Greek cities included Athens (eventually its capital city), Sparta and Delphi.

In April 1941, Greece was invaded by the forces of Nazi Germany as World War II spread into Eastern Europe. The British fought against the Germans there. On 19 April, the Germans outflanked the British on the Pindus Mountains and forced them to withdraw. On 23 April, the British Army began to evacuate Greece.
