The 597th issue of Doctor Who Magazine was cover dated December 2023.
Dedicated to the 60th anniversary specials, this issue was branded a "souvenir issue" in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who.
This issue marked the publication of the fourteenth and final part of the comic story Liberation of the Daleks, which began in issue #584.

Page 5 of the magazine incorrectly identifies Kate Herron as the director and executive producer of the entirety of the TV series Loki. In fact, she was not involved with the second season, which had already filmed in the middle of 2022, and aired its season finale worldwide the same day or the day after this issue came out, depending on time zones.
