The following list of cliffhangers gives a brief summary of each televised cliffhanger.

- An Unearthly Child
- "An Unearthly Child" - The Doctor dematerialises his ship, with Ian and Barbara still inside. The TARDIS lands in a wasteland, and the shadow of a mysterious figure creeps slowly across the ground nearby.
- "The Cave of Skulls" - The Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Susan are thrown into the cave of skulls, and Ian and the Doctor notice that the skulls have been split wide open.
- "The Forest of Fear" - Ian sees the TARDIS but Kal and his warriors appear and block the way to it.
- "The Firemaker" - The TARDIS materialises in a strange jungle. Unnoticed by the travellers, the ship detects readings of dangerous radiation.
- The Daleks
- "The Dead Planet" - Barbara is cornered by an unseen creature as she screams in horror.
- "The Survivors" - Susan collects the anti-radiation drugs in the TARDIS and prepares to go back to the city.
- "The Escape" - The Dalek mutant in the cloak sticks a disfigured claw out of the cloak.
- "The Ambush" - Ian realises that he left the vital empty fluid link in the Dalek City.
- "The Expedition" - Elyon is killed by a creature in the Lake of Mutations.
- "The Ordeal" - Antodus falls down an abyss and Ian, who is holding his rope, is dragged towards the edge.
- "The Rescue" - The TARDIS console explodes and the TARDIS crew fall to the floor.
- The Edge of Destruction
- "The Edge of Destruction" - As the Doctor works on the console, somebody grabs him by the throat.
- "The Brink of Disaster" - The TARDIS materialises on a cold, snowy area, where Barbara and Susan discover a giant footprint on the ground.
- Marco Polo
- "The Roof of the World" - Lord Tegana buys a poison to use on the caravan's water supply.
- "The Singing Sands" - Tegana is sent to find desperately needed water and finds an oasis but doesn't send any water back.
- "Five Hundred Eyes" - The Doctor, Susan and Ping-Cho go to a cave where they find that a painting of eyes is moving.
- "The Wall of Lies" - Ian tries to escape the caravan and finds a dead guard.
- "Rider from Shang-Tu" - Tegana holds Susan hostage.
- "Mighty Kublai Khan" - Tegana threatens Ping-Cho.
- The Keys of Marinus
- "The Sea of Death" - Barbara's travel dial is discovered, covered in blood.
- "The Velvet Web" - Susan is frightened by the Screaming Jungle.
- "The Screaming Jungle" - Ian and Barbara land on a snowy mountain.
- "The Snows of Terror" - Ian is knocked out while investigating a dead body and framed for the murder.
- "Sentence of Death" - Barbara receives a call from Susan claiming she (Susan) will be killed unless the Doctor stops investigating the murder.
- The Aztecs
- "The Temple of Evil" - Tlotoxl declares Barbara, posing as the Aztec god, Yetaxa, a false god, and states that he will destroy her.
- "The Warriors of Death" - Barbara demands Ixta to halt from killing Ian. Tlotoxl argues that if she truly is Yetaxa, then she should save Ian herself.
- "The Bride of Sacrifice" - Ixta seals Ian inside a tunnel leading to the TARDIS, where water starts flooding in.
- "The Day of Darkness" - The TARDIS's instruments claim the ship has both stopped and is still moving. Ian wonders if they’ve landed on something, but a worried Barbara asks if they could be inside something.
- The Sensorites
- "Strangers in Space" - Ian directs the Doctor's attention to the window, where a Sensorite is floating.
- "The Unwilling Warriors" - Susan leaves with the Sensorites, saying that she has agreed to live with them on the Sense Sphere so they will not kill the humans.
- "Hidden Danger" - Ian, suffering from an incurable disease, collapses.
- "A Race Against Death" - It appears the monster in the aqueduct has found the Doctor.
- "Kidnap" - Carol heads to look for Ian and the Doctor, but when she crosses the courtyard, a hand clamps over her mouth.
- "A Desperate Venture" - The Doctor is angered by Ian's comment that Maitland knows where he's going and they don't and says he leave him wherever they next land.
- The Reign of Terror
- "A Land of Fear" - Susan, Ian, and Barbara are captured; the Doctor is trapped in a burning house.
- "Guests of Madame Guillotine" - Susan and Barbara are led to execution.
- "A Change of Identity" - The Doctor's false identity is discovered.
- "The Tyrant of France" - Ian is sent to meet Léon Colbert, but when he arrives at the church, he is betrayed by Léon to the soldiers.
- "A Bargain of Necessity" - Waiting for the Doctor and Susan, Barbara, Ian and Jules hear the door open. It is not the Doctor and Susan, but is the Doctor and Lemaitre, and Jules declares the Doctor has betrayed them.

- Planet of Giants
- "Planet of Giants" - The Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Susan are attacked by a cat.
- "Dangerous Journey" - The Doctor and Susan nearly drown in a drainpipe.
- "Crisis" - The Doctor turns on the TARDIS scanner, which shows nothing but static.
- The Dalek Invasion of Earth
- "World's End" - The Doctor and Ian, surrounded by Robomen, are shocked to see a Dalek rising out of the Thames.
- "The Daleks" - The resistance attacks the Dalek saucer. Despite the orders for all Robomen and Daleks to fight the rebels, the commander tells a Roboman to begin the operation on the Doctor.
- "Day of Reckoning" - A firebomb, placed near the Doctor, Susan and David, steadily ticks down to detonation.
- "The End of Tomorrow" - The Slyther attacks Ian and Larry.
- "The Waking Ally" - The penetrative capsule in which Ian is hiding is dropped down a mine shaft.
- The Rescue
- "The Powerful Enemy" - Ian is sealed off from the Doctor by four long spikes and his only exit is blocked by an advancing monster.

- The Romans
- "The Slave Traders" - Ascaris prepares to assassinate the Doctor.
- "All Roads Lead to Rome" - Ian and Delos discover they will be forced to fight lions.
- "Conspiracy" - In a gladiatorial fight, Delos disarms Ian and raises his sword to chop off Ian's head.
- "Inferno" - The Doctor tells Ian they are being pulled down to a planet by an unknown force.
- The Web Planet
- "The Web Planet" - Ian is caught in a web, Barbara is compelled to walk towards a lake of acid, and the Doctor discovers that the TARDIS has seemingly dematerialised with only Vicki inside.
- "The Zarbi" - The Doctor confronts the Animus.
- "Escape to Danger" - Ian and Vrestin fall into a tunnel.
- "Crater of Needles" - Barbara is attacked by the Zarbi.
- "Invasion" - The Animus traps the Doctor and Vicki in a web.
- The Crusade
- "The Lion" - Richard The Lionheart refuses to help Barbara.
- "The Knight of Jaffa" - Barbara is fleeing from the guards, and a hand clamps over her mouth.
- "The Wheel of Fortune" - El Akir claims that the only pleasure for Barbara now is death, which will not come soon.

- "The Space Museum" - The Doctor and his companions realise they have arrived at the Space Museum.
- "The Dimensions of Time" - The Moroks prepare to turn the Doctor into an exhibit.
- "The Search" - Ian discovers the Doctor near death.
- "The Final Phase" - A Dalek informs another Dalek that the TARDIS has left the planet Xeros; the other says that their time machine will soon be in pursuit and they will soon be exterminated.
- The Chase
- "The Executioners" - The Doctor and Barbara watch a Dalek rise from the Aridian desert.
- "The Death of Time" - The Supreme Dalek vows to seek revenge on the Doctor.
- "Flight Through Eternity" - The Doctor states that every time they land, the Daleks get closer to exterminating them.
- "Journey into Terror" - The Daleks create an android double of the Doctor with orders to "infiltrate and kill".
- "The Death of Doctor Who" - Trapped by the Daleks, a Mechonoid appears and demands the TARDIS crew come with it.

- "Four Hundred Dawns" - The Doctor discovers that the planet he is on will explode in two days.
- "Trap of Steel" - In the Rill spaceship, the Doctor and Vicki witness a creature appear, causing Vicki to scream.
- "Air Lock" - Trapped in the Drahvin ship's air lock, Steven collapses as the air is sucked from the air lock.
- "The Exploding Planet" - An astronaut awakes in a dense jungle, remembering only that he "must kill...".
- Mission to the Unknown - Marc Cory is exterminated by the Daleks and they form an alliance to conquer the Sol system.
- The Myth Makers
- "Temple of Secrets" - Odysseus tells the Doctor that his "temple" has gone.
- "Small Prophet, Quick Return" - Cassandra orders her guards to execute Vicki and Steven.
- "Death of a Spy" - All the citizens of Troy watch Paris bring the Trojan Horse into their city.
- "Horse of Destruction" - The Doctor hopes to find medical treatment for Steven at their next location.
- The Daleks' Master Plan
- "The Nightmare Begins" - The Doctor returning to the TARDIS, ducks behind a bush and watches the Daleks attempting to board the TARDIS.
- "Day of Armageddon" - Bret Vyon tries to leave in the Spar and abandon the Doctor, despite Steven and Katarina's protests.
- "Devil's Planet" - Katarina finds Kirksen.
- "The Traitors" - Sara Kingdom orders Borkar to find the Doctor and Steven, and to shoot to kill.
- "Counter Plot" - The Doctor tells Sara and Steven "the Daleks have won".
- "Coronas of the Sun" - The TARDIS arrives on another planet, but he says the air outside is poisonous.
- "Volcano" - The Daleks chant that the destruction of the universe is within their grasp.
- "Golden Death" - Sara and Steven begin to search for the Doctor. As they search, a sarcophagus begins to open and a bandaged hand emerges.
- "Escape Switch" - The TARDIS console flashes and the directional unit burns out.
- "The Abandoned Planet" - Sara and Steven are discussing what to do next when they are surprised to see the figure of Mavic Chen standing behind them, holding them at gunpoint. Chen then forces them to go into the Daleks bunker.
- The Massacre
- "War of God" - The Abbot of Amboise is revealed to be the Doctor's exact double.
- "The Sea Beggar" - Admiral de Coligny tells Nicholas that the King gave him a new nickname — the Sea Beggar. However, Steven has discovered that the "Sea Beggar" is to be assassinated.
- "Priest of Death" - Steven, framed for the murder of the Abbot, is chased by a angry mob.
- The Ark
- "The Steel Sky" - The Doctor, Steven, and Dodo are placed on trial for unleashing a virus.
- "The Plague" - The Doctor, Steven, and Dodo return to the Ark 700 years later and discover the statue is completed - only it now has the head of a Monoid.
- "The Return" - A Refusian destroys the launcher, killing Two. The Doctor and Dodo find the wreckage and the Doctor says they will have to wait to get off Refusis until the next launcher lands. Dodo asks him what if they just decide to find another planet, to which the Doctor responses that they will just have to stay on Refusis.
- "The Bomb" - The Doctor mysteriously vanishes from the Console Room.
- The Celestial Toymaker
- "The Celestial Toyroom" - Steven and Dodo move on to the Hall of Dolls.
- "The Hall of Dolls" - Three dolls pursue Steven and Dodo.
- "The Dancing Floor" - Steven and Dodo prepare to play their final game, against Cyril.
- "The Final Test" - The Doctor bites into a sweet, and cries out in pain.
- The Gunfighters
- "A Holiday for the Doctor" - The Doctor unknowingly approaches his planned assassination.
- "Don't Shoot the Pianist" - The Clantons demand the Doctor turn himself in, or Steven will be hanged.
- "Johnny Ringo" - Billy Clanton escapes from prison.
- "The O.K. Corral" - A savage man approaches the TARDIS.
- The Savages
- Episode 1 - A savage reaches out towards Dodo, stumbling towards her.
- Episode 2 - The Doctor, drained of his life force by Senta, lies lifeless.

- Episode 1 - A group of soldiers sent to investigate the TARDIS are killed by Cybermen.
- Episode 2 - The radar technician in Snowcap detects a Cyber-Fleet heading for Earth.
- Episode 3 - The countdown for the Z-Bomb launch reaches zero.
- Episode 4 - The Doctor regenerates into a new body.

- The Power of the Daleks
- Episode 1 - The Doctor, Ben and Polly have discovered a pair of dormant Daleks. Polly then screams as something moves across the floor.
- Episode 2 - A Dalek, just revived, announces, "I am your servant!", drowning the Doctor's protests that it should be destroyed.
- Episode 3 - The three Daleks chant that "they will get their power".
- Episode 4 - Lesterson finds a production line mass-producing Daleks.
- Episode 5 - The Dalek army leaves to embark on a full scale slaughter, chanting "Daleks conquer and destroy!"
- Episode 6 - As the TARDIS dematerialises, the eyestalk of a seemingly destroyed Dalek slowly rises upwards.
- The Highlanders
- Episode 1 - Crossing the darkened moor, Polly falls into a pit and is threatened by someone with a dagger.
- Episode 2 - Trask throws a body over board, and tells the prisoners that's the only way they'll get off the Annabelle.
- Episode 3 - Ben is tied up and thrown into the firth, and the stool comes up empty.
- The Underwater Menace
- Episode 1 - Polly is about to be injected to become a fish person.
- Episode 2 - Thous betrays Ramo and the Doctor to Zaroff and his guards.
- Episode 3 - Professor Zaroff shoots Thous and his guards, exclaiming "Nothing in the world can stop me now!"
- Episode 4 - En route to Mars, the TARDIS is thrown off course.
- The Moonbase
- Episode 1 - A Cyberman appears in the medical bay of the Moonbase.
- Episode 2 - A Cyberman gets off a bed in the sickbay and advances on the Doctor, Ben, Polly, Jack Hobson, Charlie Wise and Bob Anders.
- Episode 3 - The Cybermen exit their spaceship and begin to walk across the surface of the Moon towards the Moonbase.
- Episode 4 - The Doctor turns on the TARDIS's time scanner. Polly gasps as a large crab-like claw comes into view on the scanner.
- The Macra Terror
- Episode 1 - Medok spots a Macra lurking in the shadows.
- Episode 2 - The Controller is pulled off screen by a Macra claw.
- Episode 3 - A Macra comes to life and approaches Jamie while he is being bombarded by gas.
- The Faceless Ones
- Episode 1 - A Chameleon is revealed.
- Episode 2 - The Chameleon Control Room is filled with gas and locked, with the Doctor still inside.
- Episode 3 - With the touch of a button, an entire aeroplane crew vanishes.
- Episode 4 - In space, the plane docks with a vast, orbiting satellite.
- Episode 5 - The Doctor and Nurse Pinto are menaced by Chameleons.

- Episode 1 - Breaking into Edward Waterfield's study, Kennedy tries to open a safe. A Dalek appears, demanding to know who Kennedy is.

- Episode 3 - Bruce realises that someone is impersonating Salamander.
- Episode 4 - Bruce arrives to arrest Kent, the Doctor and Astrid.
- Episode 5 - Astrid discovers a heavily injured Swann outside a tunnel entrance.
- Episode 6 - Salamander is sucked out into the time vortex and the Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria begin to be sucked out after him.
- The Web of Fear
- Episode 1 - The army detonate a pile of explosives on the tube platform, not realising the Doctor is next to them.
- Episode 2 - Jamie and Evans are approached by the web.
- Episode 3 - Travers discovers Weams' body and is attacked by the murderer — a Yeti.
- Episode 4 - Yeti attack the Goodge Street laboratory, and Travers appears behind them.
- Episode 5 - The wall of Goodge Street laboratory caves in, and a mass of fungus spills into the laboratory.
- Fury from the Deep
- Episode 1 - Locked in the oxygen room, Victoria sees a tendril coming out of the vent.
- Episode 2 - Van Lutyens says that "it's in the darkness, waiting".
- Episode 3 - A possessed Maggie Harris walks into the sea until she is completely submerged under the waves.
- Episode 4 - The Doctor says the "Battle of giants" has begun.
- Episode 5 - Robson emerges from the foam.
- The Wheel in Space
- Episode 1 - Bennett orders the X-Ray laser to destroy the Silver Carrier rocket with the TARDIS still onboard.
- Episode 2 - The Cybermen come out of their pods.
- Episode 3 - Vallance and Laleham are cornered by two Cybermen and are mind-controlled by the Cybermen, who tell the men to obey them.
- Episode 4 - The Doctor and Jamie are cornered by a Cyberman.
- Episode 5 - Travelling to the Silver Carrier, Jamie and Zoe see the meteors heading towards them.

- The Dominators
- Episode 1 - Two Quarks ask Toba whether they should destroy the Doctor and Jamie.
- Episode 2 - The Quarks fire upon the Dulcian survey unit, with Zoe and Cully still inside.
- Episode 3 - A smiling Toba is informed that the Dulcian museum in which Jamie and Cully were taking cover in has been destroyed.
- Episode 4 - Toba tells his prisoners that they will die one by one unless they reveal where Jamie is. The Quark kills Balan, and the Doctor is next in line.
- Episode 5 - The Doctor reacts in horror as the island he and his companions are situated on erupts, and lava flows towards them.
- The Mind Robber
- Episode 1 - The TARDIS breaks apart and the Doctor's companions are left floating in nothingness.
- Episode 2 - A unicorn charges at the Doctor and his companions.
- Episode 3 - Zoe tries not to look at Medusa.
- Episode 4 - Jamie and Zoe are crushed by a giant book.
- Episode 5 - The Doctor ponders whether he, Jamie, and Zoe will truly escape the Land of Fiction or simply vanish along with it.
- The Invasion
- Episode 1 - The Cyber-Planner is revealed.
- Episode 2 - The Doctor and Jamie are captured by Packer.
- Episode 3 - Jamie encounters an automated cocoon.
- Episode 4 - A Cyberman emerges from its cocoon.
- Episode 5 - Jamie, Zoe and Isobel are trapped between an insane Cybermen and two other Cybermen.
- Episode 6 - The Cybermen come out of the sewers and storm London.
- Episode 7 - The Cybermen plan to use a Megatron bomb to destroy Earth.
- The Krotons
- Episode 1 - The Doctor is attacked by a snake-like creature.
- Episode 2 - The Krotons subject Jamie to a mental probe. One of the Krotons says he is not a "high brain" and the power will kill him.
- Episode 3 - A massive rockfall occurs and some of the rubble falls on the Doctor.
- The Seeds of Death
- Episode 1 - Locke is discovered by an Ice Warrior, which kills him.
- Episode 2 - The homing beacon for the rocket carrying the Doctor and his companions is cut off.
- Episode 3 - Slaar T-Mats a seed down to Earth Control in London.
- Episode 4 - An Ice Warrior advances on Zoe as she begs Fewsham for help.
- Episode 5 - A seed pod near the Doctor begins to expand.
- The Space Pirates
- Episode 1 - The Doctor, Jamie and Zoe are trapped inside Space Beacon Alpha Four as it explodes.
- Episode 2 - Jamie is shot by Milo.
- Episode 3 - Chased through tunnels on Ta, the Doctor and his companions fall into a black pit.
- Episode 4 - In Madeleine's office, she pulls a gun on Milo. Caven comes in, and when Joe Sorba tries to attack him, guns him down. Caven asks if anyone else wants to die like a hero.
- Episode 5 - The Doctor is caught in the blast of the lift off of LIZ 79.
- The War Games
- Episode 1 - A World War I firing squad prepare to shoot the Doctor.
- Episode 2 - The Doctor and his friends are attacked by a group of Roman soldiers.
- Episode 3 - The Doctor and Zoe are trapped inside a SIDRAT.
- Episode 4 - Zoe is held at gunpoint by Carstairs.
- Episode 5 - Jamie and a group of resistance soldiers are shot down.
- Episode 6 - The SIDRAT's dimensions shrink in on the Doctor, Carstairs and Jamie.
- Episode 7 - The Doctor is captured by a War Lord squad.
- Episode 8 - The Doctor seemingly betrays Jamie, Zoe and the rest of the prisoners to the War Chief and the War Lords.
- Episode 9 - The Doctor and his companions escape the base and try to get back to the TARDIS but their movements are slowed down as the Doctor tries to unlock and open the TARDIS doors.
- Episode 10 - The Time Lords exile the Doctor to Earth and force him to regenerate.

- Episode 1 - An erratic Third Doctor is shot at by a UNIT soldier and collapses.
- Episode 2 - An Auton advances on John Ransome.
- Episode 3 - Scobie is attacked by his Auton duplicate.
- Doctor Who and the Silurians
- Episode 1 - The Doctor is attacked by a dinosaur.
- Episode 2 - Liz is knocked unconscious by a Silurian.
- Episode 3 - The Doctor discovers John Quinn's body. He looks in his hand and finds a strange device, and activates it, and it makes a bleeping noise. The Doctor looks and sees a Silurian in the doorway.
- Episode 4 - Morka attacks the Doctor with his third eye.
- Episode 5 - Baker dies in hospital as a result of the Silurian virus, and the Doctor says he will be the first one of millions.
- Episode 6 - The Silurians raid the centre and take the Doctor.
- The Ambassadors of Death
- Episode 1 - Taltalian levels a gun at the Doctor and Liz.
- Episode 2 - The Doctor demands the probe be opened.
- Episode 3 - Reegan's henchmen chase Liz, and she tumbles over the side of a path through a weir.
- Episode 4 - The Doctor is approached by an alien ambassador.
- Episode 5 - An alien spaceship on a collision course with Recovery Probe 7 and the Mars Probe rapidly approaches.

- Part Two - The Doctor tells her companions of her backstory while capitulating on what the Master had told her.
- Fugitive of the Judoon - The TARDIS alerts the Doctor to three dangers across three different continents, prompting her, Graham, Ryan and Yaz to take off to investigate them.
- Can You Hear Me? - The Doctor has the brilliant idea to go to the time of the creation of Frankenstein and, with her friends' approval, she takes off.
- The Haunting of Villa Diodati - The Doctor hands over the Cyberium to Ashad despite her friends' protests. They then leave to stop the huge war in the future that is about to commence. (*NOTE: Unusual to the normal set up, this cliffhanger is placed during the last scenes of the battle with the villain rather than the last scenes of the episode*)
- Ascension of the Cybermen - A portal to Gallifrey in ruins opens, and the Spy Master jumps through revealing that "everything is about to change". Meanwhile on a war carrier ship, Ashad awakens a new army of Cybermen who attempt to gun down Graham, Yaz and the other resistance members.
- The Timeless Children - The Doctor is ambushed by the Judoon inside the TARDIS, who teleport her to a maximum security facility in space.

- The Halloween Apocalypse - The Flux threatens the Earth as it hurtles towards it and the TARDIS alike, also putting the Doctor, Yaz and new companion Dan Lewis in danger, while Karvanista looks on in despair. Meanwhile Joseph Williamson mumbles to himself while overlooking the digging of his tunnels, Claire Brown lands in another time after being zapped back by a Weeping Angel that remains in front of her house, Sontaran Commander Ritskaw launches an attack, Vinder's escape capsule hurtles through space and Swarm and Azure have Diane trapped.
- War of the Sontarans - In the Temple of Atropos on the planet Time, Swarm has replaced two of the Mouri, keepers of time in the universe, with Vinder and Yaz. With Azure counting down, Swarm threatens the Doctor that a click of his fingers will let the full force of time run through their bodies and potentially kills them. At Azure's count down to zero, Swarm clicks his fingers as the Doctor looks on in distress.
- Once, Upon Time - As Team TARDIS prepares to take off for new destinations, Yaz receives an alarm on her phone. As she looks at it, she sees a Weeping Angel jumpscaring at her, prompting her to throw her phone and it emerges from the screen into the TARDIS. As the Doctor, Yaz and Dan back up into the corner of the control room, the light starts to flicker violently and the Angel moves to the console and starts operating it, casting a glance at the trio.
- Village of the Angels - The Weeping Angels have trapped the Doctor at the quantum extraction point of the 1967 side of Medderton. As a Weeping Angel, through Claire Brown, tells her that she has been recalled to the Division, she watches in horror as the Angels activate their collective power and transform her into an Angel, turning her into a stone figure, sprouting wings and taking the stance of a typical Weeping Angel.
- Survivors of the Flux - As the Ravagers have let themselves onboard Division Control located in the Void, Swarm tells Awsok he's going to "release [her]", making the Doctor watch in horror as she burns away by his touch. As he turns to the Doctor, he threatens her that it is her turn as he slowly walks towards her.
- The Vanquishers - The Doctor removes an orb on the console of the TARDIS, dropping the watch containing her lost memories above a hole that extend all the way to unknown areas inside the depths of the ship, telling her to hide it somewhere she'll never find it. She put the orb back into the console, adding "unless [she] really [asks] for it". She then pulls a console lever, off to new places.

- The Power of the Doctor - The Doctor travels to a cliff top to soak in one last sunrise before regeneration. As she offers her own last words, she explodes in a firework of golden glow. As she regenerates, her clothes morphs into something different and the new man emerges. However, as he takes his first breath, he can feel something very familiar about himself, exclaiming “what?”, and as he notices he wears different clothes, exclaims “what?” again, and starts feeling his face and exclaims a final “what?”.

- The Star Beast - After the Doctor serves Donna Noble a cup of coffee from the TARDIS console, she accidentally and carelessly spills the entirety of it into the control system, causing the TARDIS to heavily malfunction, and causing both of them to panic. The Doctor worriedly exclaims that they could end up anywhere in time and space.
- Wild Blue Yonder - Following a happy reunion with Wilfred Mott, all hell starts to break loose as citizens start fighting eachother and burning down stalls. As a plane comes crashing down the Doctor, Wilf and Donna take cover by the TARDIS.
- The Giggle - The new Doctor runs around the TARDIS console, flipping switches and pushing buttons. Stepping away from the console he smiles as he looks up at the time rotor, taking off for new adventures.

- The Church on Ruby Road - Ruby Sunday sees the TARDIS and runs inside. Coming outside, she can’t believe what she saw, and runs all around the blue box to make sure she isn’t going crazy, then ventures inside again, being greeted by the Doctor. As she asks him who he is, he replies that he’s the Doctor.
- Bonus - Mrs Flood tells Abdul "Merry Christmas" and turns to the camera as she exclaims "Never seen a TARDIS before?" and winks.
- The Legend of Ruby Sunday - At UNIT HQ, the employee Harriet starts acting and speaking in strange patterns as Susan Triad at the Triad Technology rehearsal has a breakdown. Harriet lists various God-like being as a manifestation appears around the TARDIS. In the below chambers, Ruby finds the Time Window has reactivated. Sutekh, the God of Death, appears on the TARDIS, to everyone's horror. Susan has turned into a skeletal figure, killing her assistant and walking towards the Doctor. In the chambers, the figure of Ruby's mom walk towards her.

- End of Days - Jack hears the TARDIS materialising and leaves the Hub.

- Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - Before teleporting away, Captain John Hart says to Jack, "I found Gray", a foreshadowing for the finale. Jack, clearly disturbed by this revelation, orders the rest of his team to get back to work.
- Reset - Owen is shot, and the team unsuccessfully try to revive him. They realise their teammate is dead.
- Fragments - After facing a bomb trap in a warehouse the Torchwood team are contacted by Captain John Hart, who reveals he planted the bombs and shows Jack his brother Gray.

- Children of Earth: Day One - Due to an accidental scan, Jack finds out a bomb has been planted in his stomach. Gwen and Ianto flee, before the Torchwood Hub explodes and Jack is presumed dead.
- Children of Earth: Day Two - The 456 send another signal through the children that says "We are coming tomorrow."
- Children of Earth: Day Three - The 456 demand 10% of the world's children and Jack reveals to his team that he gave the 12 children to the 456 in 1965 as a "gift".
- Children of Earth: Day Four - When Jack and Ianto confront the 456, refusing their proposal and promising they'll fight, the 456 release a virus into Thames House killing everyone inside apart from Dekker.
- Children of Earth: Day Five - Six months after the events of the series, Captain Jack leaves the Earth for a new life.
