Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • A footnote refers readers confused about the Snipes to the then-nonexistent Season 33 of Doctor Who, the implication being that the Snipes were a monster from the future of the show. In real life, the denomination of Season 33 is sometimes given to Series 7 of the revival, which did not, as a matter of fact, feature any aliens called the Snipes.
  • Peter Cushing is identified by name, and thus appears to be appearing as an in-universe version of himself, not as his Doctor, although he is in costume as said Doctor.
