- Two of Marco Polo's Mongol horde are told to spread out and mill around.
- Instead of the prop, there is an inflatable TARDIS. The First Doctor attempts to blow it up, while Ian tells somebody he doesn't care if it cuts down on production costs.
- Crackerjack airs at 5 to 5 on Fridays.
- After the conclusion of an episode of Crackerjack, a group of workers are told they have two minutes to turn the Dalek City backcloth into an Asian landscape for the new Dr. Who adventure.
