The third untitled comic in Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett's The Doctor Who Fun Book was a light, one-page comic story which continued the exploration of the comedic possibilities of the Doctor's TARDIS's broken chameleon circuit begun earlier in the book in Quick Change [+]Loading...["Quick Change (comic story)"].
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Sixth Doctor has finally managed to repair the broken chameleon circuit of his TARDIS, but it works only too well, and he and Peri are stuck traipsing through a jungle trying to remember what the TARDIS turned into when they first arrived, without much luck.
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Doctor eyes a lizard suspiciously.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Sixth Doctor had been attempting to repair the chameleon circuit for a while, something shown in COMIC: Quick Change [+]Loading...["Quick Change (comic story)"], as well as with the main Sixth Doctor in TV: Attack of the Cybermen [+]Loading...["Attack of the Cybermen (TV story)"].
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Doctor's glare at a lizard implies that he thinks it plausible that a TARDIS might take on the shape of a living thing, a concept which would explored at greater lengths in Alien Bodies [+]Loading...["Alien Bodies (novel)"].
