Are You Observant? was one of the comical "game" sections of Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett's The Doctor Who Fun Book.
A mockery of usual "how many details about a given picture can you remember form a glimpse?"-type test, it presented a picture of a zoomed-out starfield and then demanded answers about what was going on at a human scale on various planets located within said starfield, as though they had been visible.

- The time on "the Town Hall clock" when the picture was taken was "Zero, zero, stop": this is "Snipe time".
- Baby Ucyl wanted to watch Doctor Who on television when his TV set was smashed by a Snipe.
- 300 Daleks are somehow hiding behind a potted plant, which constitutes them "hiding suspiciously".
- The Mondasian cowboys descended from the Black Hills of Mondas.

- This story gave yet again more details about the mysterious Snipes, an alien race used in two other works within The Doctor Who Fun Book (The Universe Marathon [+]Loading...["The Universe Marathon (game)"] and The Final Script [+]Loading...["The Final Script (comic story)"]) and suggested by a footnote in the former of these two stories to be slated to become a recurring enemy of the Doctor in the then-nonexistent Season 33 of the TV series.
