Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Doctor claims that the question of whether Susan was really his granddaughter has been one of the most puzzling discrepancies in the whole Who mythos.
  • As Time Lords get younger with each regeneration, and Susan is a lot younger than the Doctor, that makes their relationship grandmother to grandson. Dr. Who reflects that this must mean his Susan is his great-grandmother.
  • Susan uses a wheelchair.
