Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Fifth Doctor talks to an interviewer and reveals some interesting truths about his trademark stick of celery.
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The interviewer claims the meaning behind the Doctor's stick of celery was the mystery that stood out as the most puzzling to his fans.
- The Doctor gives the reason that he is a messy eater as explanation for the celery, citing equally mysterious ketchup marks on his trousers and a matching egg stain down his shirt.
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Just over a year later, in the Fifth Doctor's final story, The Caves of Androzani, the real reason for the celery was revealed; it would turn purple in the presence of praxis gas to which the Doctor was allergic, thus serving as an early warning to him.
- This was the eleventh Doctor Who? strip drawn by Dicky Howett.
