Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
A seemingly friendly Menoptera goes rogue and angers the Fifth Doctor.
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Doctor chases a Menoptera out of his TARDIS.
- Both the Doctor and Tegan thought the Menoptera were on their side.
- Tegan calls the Doctor "Doc".
- The Menoptera ate through the Doctor's best cricket whites as a moth might.
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story marked the first and only Doctor Who? appearance of the Menoptera, who made just one television appearance in The Web Planet, and had not been seen in any medium since the Doctor Who Annual 1966, both released in 1965.
- The Fifth Doctor would later properly encounter the Menoptera in Return to the Web Planet in 2007.
- This was the seventeenth Doctor Who? strip drawn by Dicky Howett.
